Summary

Guts， the Black Swordsman， and his companions have finally broken free of the monster-infested wilderness and arrived at the port city of Vritannis。 But the band finds out all too quickly that humans can be just as monstrous as the nightmarish creatures and apostles they battled in the forest。 As Schierke and Isidro face off against pirate slavers， Farnese's power-hungry family tries to force her once again under the yoke of their political ambitions。 The group's only hope is to find a ship out of the city， but even if they manage to secure a vessel， will everyone be free to leave？

In this volume the pacing slowed down， far too much in my opinion。 It felt necessary to set up various pieces for the future， but the execution could have been handled better。 Despite that the artwork is stellar， Miura is incredibly talented， and his skills just keep getting better。

Berserk Vol#29Is this a filler ？？ A bit slow from the past volumes but it paved the ground for a great cliffhanger！Serpico Vs。 Guts。Something feels strange though the entire volume :/We got to see Griffth too 3:）

Now in the city， there are challenges。 We meet a new character attached to the white hawk who can see the witches magic。 She is clearly in love with the leader of the white hawk band。 Our witch is struggling with her feelings for Guts。 Farnese returns home and has to make a terrible choice。 Meanwhile， demon forces amass around the city。

Mmmm el bajón de ritmo de este tomo fue bastante alto， entiendo la intención y compromiso de darle a Farnese el tiempo necesario para cerrar esa parte de su historia， y de desarrollar la facción de los nobles， para de paso criticar algo a la aristocracia。 Sin embargo el poco interés que me genera es preocupante， quizás porque ya sé que nada de esto importa frente al conflicto mayor en el fondo。Aún así el desarrollo de personaje de Guts， Farnese y Serpico están muy bien hilados。

i think this is the worst volume so far a lot of aristocrat schemes being played but it looks like the fun is getting started nowa duel between Guts and Serpico A kushan monster heading right to the party where the most important people in the kingdom are gathering i dont know but i am begining to believe that despite the stupid ending of Gantz its much better then Berserkbut maybe Berserk beats Gantz as a literal piece of art since Gantz can easily be considered Action only

I feel Berserk is at it's best when it focuses on Guts fighting demons for it really does not do political intrigue or other heavy dialogue story very well but still nice to see a volume that actually focuses on Serpico and Farneze and actually see Farneze do something for a strange instead of just whining about being useless。 Also nice to see what the noble families are doing and seeing other repercussions of the fall of Midland。 I feel Berserk is at it's best when it focuses on Guts fighting demons for it really does not do political intrigue or other heavy dialogue story very well but still nice to see a volume that actually focuses on Serpico and Farneze and actually see Farneze do something for a strange instead of just whining about being useless。 Also nice to see what the noble families are doing and seeing other repercussions of the fall of Midland。 。。。more

SERPICO VS GUTS ROUND 2 😩🙌🏽 YESSSS BABY ！！！ 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 What a great volume。 I cannot believe how much Farnese and Schierke have grown on me， so much character development， so much depth。 Pls， protect my girls at all cost。

Encore un tome calme， on a le temps de découvrir la ville et aussi de voir comment tous les personnages du groupe se comportent les uns avec les autres。C'est un tome qui est plus centré sur Farnèse， comme Schrieke dans le tome précédent， elle doute de sa place dans le groupe et même dans le monde， elle est prête à se rendre à sa famille， qu'elle déteste plus que tout depuis son enfance， pour leur permettre de continuer。Heureusement， dans ce groupe， personne n'est abandonné et c'est comme ça que Encore un tome calme， on a le temps de découvrir la ville et aussi de voir comment tous les personnages du groupe se comportent les uns avec les autres。C'est un tome qui est plus centré sur Farnèse， comme Schrieke dans le tome précédent， elle doute de sa place dans le groupe et même dans le monde， elle est prête à se rendre à sa famille， qu'elle déteste plus que tout depuis son enfance， pour leur permettre de continuer。Heureusement， dans ce groupe， personne n'est abandonné et c'est comme ça que la bande se retrouve en quête de Dame Farnèse， pour la ramener là où est sa vraie place。 。。。more
